I consult with companies and organizations on the challenges and opportunities of an aging population. I bring expertise in the area of knowledge transfer and multi-generational workplaces to my consulting. I also consult with retirement communities and other eldercare services on creative visioning for future elders. My knowledge of creative living options, age friendly communities, and visionary models of aging for boomers and beyond informs my consulting services.
My doctoral work was a narrative and multi-disciplinary study on multicultural aspects of aging. I've done extensive work around issues of cultural and racial diversity through my experience of being an anti-apartheid activist in South Africa, and a political exile in the United States. I bring this expertise to my work with elders and retirement communities looking to expand their resident population into a more racially and ethnically diverse community.
Some of my clients in the Carolinas: Aldersgate Retirement Community, Bon Secours Health Care, Mepkin Abbey's Institute for Contemplative Eldering; The Sages at St. Peter Catholic Church, Duke University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
